I love Ghazals and this is as simple as it gets to my taste: simple, elegant, classy and sophisticated stuff. But this is not the only thing I listen to or enjoy for that matter. I love hindustani classical, old and new hindi film songs and a blend of english music as well. I will open the secrets slowly and keep silence so that I dont get bored of posting my blogs and also, it keeps some excitement going :)
The most recent composition and voice I liked/loved is by Aatif Aslam called aadat. You can find more information about him at: www.h3o.info
He has something in his voice which I find appealing. He has amazing depth in his voice.
Another new voice which I am starting to love is Amey Date on Indian Idol 2. He has got this amazing classical touch to his voice and every song he sang so far makes me wonder if he could have replaced those leading singers if given the right opportunity. But thats not fair on my part to say that, those singers were amazing and couldn't be compared. I also like Meenal's voice and her talent is very well known to me (being a family friend). She always has been a darling singer, so much versatility and passion for music. I surely hope these two go a long way in Indian Idol 2.
