Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival 2007

This was my first time to attend the Palo Alto Clay and Glass festival, which is arranged by The Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California every year. Local artists as well as artists from other parts of California come here to display and possibly sell their art work in the form of clay sculptures and glass articles.

This two day festival started yesterday, so today was the last day. I went their late in the afternoon today leaving me very little time to explore this plethora of art. Some of the pieces were really amazing and designed with lot of details.

I was told that we are not supposed to take pictures of the articles, but some of the artists were nice enough to let me click their articles as long as it is for my personal collection only.

There was live music playing in the park and lot of food stalls to eat. Most appealing looked like the Soft Frozen Lemonade. It was beautiful weather outside, as opposed to last week's heat wave, increasing the pleasure to enjoy these magnificent art pieces.
